Over the past few months, we’ve been expanding and working on our new sister agency Publicity.is (yipee!). During this time, we’ve really noticed how important it is to communicate well within a team. Teamwork works wonders – and here’s why:
- Increased efficiency is an obvious benefit. When a group of people are working towards a common goal, they are able to share the workload and get the job done quicker.
- The social aspect is another advantage of working in a team, we find the days go by so much faster when we’re able to engage socially with our team members!
- Having different people with different perspectives makes problem solving easy. Being able to confidentially throw around ideas and gain inspiration from others contributes to the true beauty of working in a team. The flow of creativity when a team works well together is unparalleled when the results show the collaboration of unique ideas.
At Fifty Acres, we work with women of all ages, from interns to women who’ve been in the industry for decades. We find that we all bring something different to the table, particularly during the creative process.
How do we do this? Communication! Who would’ve thought, the communications agency, likes communication? Funny that. At the end of the day, we find that good communication facilitates a support network, which is necessary for success.
