We know all too well how difficult it can be to stay on top of all of marketing your brand while on the go and focusing on countless other projects. That’s why we’re bringing it back to basics.
- Block out brainstorming time: Catching the train to work one day? This is your brainstorming time. Have your notepad at the ready (and a coffee or three) and gain inspiration from what you see. It may be a billboard you pass, or the colour of somebody’s jacket, whatever it may be, use it!
- Goal setting: It is important to set goals or objectives for yourself whilst marketing your brand, this way you are more likely to work more effectively. SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-based) goals will help you understand the nitty- gritty's of your goals and help you achieve them.
- Focus: We all want to update each medium as soon as we have our idea, however you are likely to be more effective if you just focus on one at a time. Say you are marketing your business on social media, pick one to begin with, gain a following, and then allow it to grow. If your audience likes what they see on one platform, they will follow you across to another.
- Making it a habit: Chances are, you’ve got a team so assist you with this, so make sure you’re all on the same page and are able to encourage one another. If not, keep focused and you’ll reap the results later.
